Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to pick up. The main objective is simple — predict whether the Banker's or Player's hand will be closer to 9, or whether the round will end in a Tie.
Place your chips on the Banker, Player, or Tie spot before betting time closes. You can also add side bets.
The dealer deals two cards to each hand. 10s and face cards count as zero; Aces count as 1; all other cards are worth their face value.
Third-card rules are applied automatically — players don't need to make any decisions. The system handles everything.
The hand closest to 9 wins. Winnings are credited instantly to your ibet88 account balance.
Standard payout rates applied across all ibet88 tables.
A 5% commission applies to Banker wins. No Commission Baccarat waives this commission.
Take the excitement further with exclusive side bets available on ibet88.
At ibet88, every baccarat table features a live scoreboard just like in a real casino. The Big Road, Bead Plate, Big Eye Boy, and Small Road help you identify result patterns before placing your next bet.
Note: The scoreboard is for reference only. Each round is independent and is not influenced by previous results.

While baccarat is largely a game of chance, there are a few approaches that can help you play smarter at ibet88.
Statistics show that Banker wins in 45.86% of hands compared to Player at 44.62%. Even with the commission, it remains the bet with the lowest house edge in baccarat.
The Tie payout of 8:1 is tempting, but a house edge of 14.4% is extremely high. Use Tie sparingly as a speculative bet only when the pattern looks right.
Before you start, set a win limit (e.g., walk away once you're up RM200) and a loss limit (e.g., stop when you've lost RM100). This discipline protects your bankroll in the long run.
If you're new, ibet88 offers demo play on select table variants. Get familiar with the interface and rules before playing with real money.

Everything you need to know about online baccarat — from the history of the game to how to maximise your winning chances at ibet88.
Baccarat is far more than just another casino game in Malaysia — it has long been woven into the fabric of local nightlife and entertainment culture. Walk into any land-based casino in the country and the baccarat room is always packed with serious players. ibet88 brings that same atmosphere online, without compromising on quality.
The main appeal of baccarat is its simplicity. Unlike poker, which demands deep strategy, or blackjack, which requires memorising basic strategy, baccarat only asks you to make one decision — Banker, Player, or Tie. After that, everything plays out according to fixed rules. This makes it the perfect choice for casino players who want excitement without the complexity.
Many Malaysian players have tried several online baccarat platforms before settling on ibet88, and the reason is almost always the same — streaming quality, game speed, and trust. At ibet88, live baccarat video is delivered using the latest technology, ensuring a sharp, stable picture even on limited internet connections. No lag, no interruptions that cause you to miss your moment.
Ibet88 dealers are more than just a face on screen. They are professionally trained, personable, and attuned to the needs of Asian players. You can follow the game in a welcoming atmosphere while enjoying the comfort of your own home. For players who prefer more privacy, ibet88's exclusive VIP tables offer a more intimate experience with higher betting limits.
One thing that sometimes confuses new players is the 5% commission on Banker wins. This is standard practice in baccarat worldwide and is not an additional charge by ibet88. For example, if you bet RM100 on Banker and win, your net payout is RM95 (not RM100). This is because the Banker hand has a slight statistical advantage, and the commission is how the casino balances this out.
If you'd rather skip the commission, ibet88 offers No Commission Baccarat tables. Here, Banker wins pay out at a full 1:1 with no deductions. However, a special rule applies when the Banker wins with a value of 6 — in that case, the payout is halved (0.5:1). Overall, both variants carry a low house edge and deliver a fair gaming experience.
Trust is the foundation of ibet88. All live baccarat games are broadcast in real time without any editing or manipulation. Dealers use standard card shoes (typically 8 decks) that are physically shuffled in front of the camera. Players can watch the entire shuffling and cutting process live.
In addition, ibet88 uses an independent third-party verification system to ensure all baccarat outcomes are truly random and unbiased. Every round is recorded and can be reviewed by players through the game history in their ibet88 account — giving you full confidence that every round you play is completely fair.
One of the biggest advantages of playing baccarat on ibet88 is how seamlessly it works on mobile. The ibet88 app, available on both iOS and Android, is fully optimised for live baccarat — with a clear table display, easy-to-tap betting buttons, and stable video streaming even when you're on the go.
Many Malaysian players enjoy a quick game of baccarat during lunch breaks, while waiting at the clinic, or relaxing at home after work. With ibet88, you're not tied to a desktop. As long as you have an internet connection and enough battery, a baccarat table is always ready for you.
Ibet88 consistently rewards baccarat players with a range of attractive offers. In addition to a welcome bonus for new members, there is weekly live casino cashback, VIP table promotions, and a VIP programme that gives you greater rewards as your level increases. The higher your VIP tier, the higher your betting limits and the more cashback you receive.
Ibet88 Diamond members — the highest VIP tier — enjoy up to 3% baccarat cashback every week, exclusive table access with no betting limits, and a dedicated personal account manager available at any time. This isn't just a promise — it's ibet88's commitment to its most loyal players.
